One of the problems faced by Indonesian youth is the problem of micronutrient nutrition, which is about 12% of boys and 23% of girls experiencing anemia, which is mostly caused by iron deficiency (iron deficiency anemia). According to an online survey conducted by UNICEF of more than 6,000 young Indonesians, almost 90% of teenage girls stopped taking blood-supplementing tablets (TTD). There are many optional programs launched by the government regarding the provision of TTD. In carrying out the program, it is necessary to have a good understanding by adolescents regarding anemia, TTD and the impact if adolescents experience anemia. Therefore, counseling and providing education for adolescents are carried out in order to increase adolescent knowledge about anemia and the importance of consuming iron tablets, especially for young women. The stages carried out are pre-test, counseling (providing education) and post-test. There is a significant difference in knowledge before and after educating adolescents about anemia as a prevention effort, especially during this pandemic.
