PENGUATAN LITERASI SOSIAL ANAK USIA DINI PADA SISWA SEKOLAH PAUD SEJENIS (SPS) WORTEL DI BANTULKARANG, RINGINHARJO, BANTUL, KABUPATEN BANTUL

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sosial anak usia dini di SPS “Wortel†Bantul Karang, Ringinharjo, Bantul. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan  melalui beberapa metode kegiatan yaitu : 1) memberikan materi pola asuh anak usia dini kepada orangtua siswa dengan ceramah variatif melalui gambar dan power point, 2) memberikan penguatan literasi sosial melalui cerita dan gambar seri, 3) memberikan penguatan literasi sosial melalui bermain. Kegiatan pertama diikuti oleh orangtua siswa sebanyak 23 orang, 23 siswa, dan empat guru. Kegiatan kedua diikuti oleh 27 siswa dan empat guru.  Kegiatan ketiga diikuti oleh 26 siswa dan empat guru.
Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru dan orangtua siswa, serta observasi, kegiatan penguatan literasi sosial anak usia dini ini menghasilkan temuan sebagai berikut : 1) pemahaman orangtua siswa terkait pola asuh anak meningkat baik; 2) pemahaman literasi sosial anak meningkat melalui cerita dan gambar; dan 3) pemahaman literasi sosial anak meningkat melalui bermain.
