Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan sikap sadar sampah, terutama terhadap siswa-siswa yang ada di sekolah menengah. Sasaran program ini untuk mengubah tata kelola pengelolaan sampah yang dimulai dari lingkungan sekolah. Program ini dimulai dengan menempatkan mahasiswa KKM (Kuliah Kerja Mahasiswa) ke sekolah-sekolah di sekitar lokasi KKM. Mahasiswa KKM ini difungsikan sebagai pendamping lapangan dalam pengelolaan sampah. Tahap selanjutnya, diadakan sosialisasi dan pelatihan pengelolaan sampah oleh dosen dan mahasiswa di lingkungan sekolah. Sasaran program ini adalah guru, siswa dan tukang kebun di lingkungan sekolah. Tahap pelaksanaan pengelolaan sampah akan dimonitoring dan dievaluasi oleh dosen bersama dengan mahasiswa. Program ini sudah dilaksanakan di tiga sekolah yaitu, SMPN 1 Mancak, Serang, SMA Al Irsyad Waringinkurung, dan SMA 1 Baros.
