PENGEMBANGAN PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGARAAN SEBAGAI PENDIDIKAN POLITIK

Abstrak
Riset ini disusun dengan tujuan mengetahui peran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan apabila dikembangkan dengan ilmu Pendidikan Politik. Dasar dari Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan secara umum adalah untuk memberikan arahan dan petunjuk guna membuka wawasan seseorang dalam bernegara sesuai dengan hati nuraninya masing-masing, yang mana Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan tersebut sejalan dengan fungsi Pendidikan Politik yang erat kaitannya dengan proses pengendalian diri, mengambil keputusan, dan mengetahui konsekuensi atas dasar tujuan politik yang sudah diambil sebelumnya. Selain itu, Pendidikan Politik pun merupakan sesuatu yang krusial yang patut dilpelajari atas dalam rangka memperkokoh sikap demokratis waga negara, ikut andil dalam organisasi kemasyarakatan, serta menganalisis hambatan yang muncul dalam membangun sikap demokratis dalam masyarakat. Metode riset ini dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik metode kualitatif dimana lebih menjabarkan dari sudut pandang analisa, dimana dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pengembangan pendidikan kewarganegaraan merupakan sebagai pendidikan politik yang dimana segala landasan atau teori berpolitik terdapat didalam pendidikan kewarganegaraan

Abstract
This research was prepared with the aim of knowing the role of Citizenship Education when developed with the science of Political Education. The basis of Citizenship Education in general is to provide direction and guidance to open one's insights in the state in accordance with their own conscience, where citizenship education is in line with the function of Political Education that is closely related to the process of self-control, decision making, and knowing the consequences on the basis of political objectives that have been taken before. In addition, Political Education is also something crucial that should be studied in order to strengthen the democratic attitudes of the state, participate in community organizations, and analyze the obstacles that arise in building democratic attitudes in society. This research method is done by collecting data using qualitative method techniques which better describe from the point of view of analysis, where it can be concluded that the development of citizenship education is as a political education where all political foundations or theories are contained in citizenship education
