Abstract

The research aims to determine the application of the principles of Good Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility in Islamic Boarding Schools. The research was conducted at the Modern Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Islamic Boarding School in Yogyakarta in 2021/2022. This study uses a qualitative approach, which starts with data and leads to conclusions. This study also translates the research results obtained from sources in the field into the researchers' language as data to explain the existing conditions. In this study, the method of analyzing data is by determining the lowest and highest score ranges by multiplying the number of respondents (n) = 20 with the lowest weight of 1 and the highest of 5 so that the lowest GCG and CSR principles implementation score range = 20 and the highest = 100. Then determine the range of scores for each criterion (20(5-1))/5=16.

The study results concluded that the overall application of GCG principles was Good, with a total score of 419.3, so the assessment score (419.3/5) = 83.86. The overall application of CSR principles is Very Good, with a total score of 266.75 so the assessment score (266.75/3) = 88.92.
