Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

A. General Requirements

Manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Advances in Intelligent Informatics must meet the following minimum requirements:

  1. Written in Indonesian using proper grammar and academic language.

  2. The manuscript should be between 6 and 12 pages in length. The editorial board will evaluate any manuscript that exceeds 16 pages.

  3. Authors must use a reference management tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote, and format references using the IEEE citation style.

  4. The manuscript must be prepared using the official JIE.UPY paper template.


B. Manuscript Structure

Authors are encouraged to structure their manuscript as follows:

  • Title
    The title should clearly reflect the research objectives, methods/models used, and main outcomes, without the use of acronyms or abbreviations.

  • Abstract
    The abstract should be between 180 and 200 words, contain no citations, and clearly state the main objective, research design, methodology, key results, and conclusions.

  • Section Structure
    The recommended section structure is:
    Introduction – Method – Results and Discussion – Conclusion

  • References
    A minimum of 15 references is required, with at least 80% sourced from journal articles published between 2018 and 2022.
