Abstract

This research aims to find out how the sociodrama learning model is applied in junior high school social studies as an effort to increase student creativity. This research uses a descriptive method - analysis with a qualitative approach and uses literature review as a source. There are 4 results and discussions in this research, namely (1) social studies learning, (2) increasing junior high school students' creativity in learning, (3) Application of the Sociodrama Learning Model (4) Efforts made by teachers in implementing the Sociodrama Learning Model to Increase Student Creativity. With this, it can be concluded that in junior high school social studies is a lesson with a lot of material, therefore, so that learning can attract students' interest, teachers must apply a variety of learning models, for example the sociodrama learning model in this lesson, students automatically participate actively in the class. because this sociodrama learning model is more pressing, that students are asked to act in class and understand the role of characters so that learning feels more fun, interesting and can increase students' creativity in learning activities.
