THE INFLUENCE OF TEACHER COMPETENCE, LEARNING RESOURCES, AND THE UTILIZATION OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ON SOCIAL STUDIES LEARNING OUTCOMES

This study aims to analyze the influence of teacher competence, learning resources, and utilization of science and technology on student learning outcomes in Social Sciences (IPS) subjects at SDN Gugus IV, Maron District, Probolinggo Regency. The research method used is quantitative, data collection techniques are carried out by giving questionnaires to samples. The population of this study was students at SDN Gugus IV totaling 595, with a sample of 114 students selected. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire for the variables of teacher competence, learning resources, utilization of science and technology on student learning outcomes at SDN Gugus IV Maron, Maron District. The method used in this study is a survey method with Teacher Competence (X1), Learning Resources (X2), and Utilization of Science and Technology (X3) while the dependent variable is Learning Outcomes (Y). The results of data analysis obtained multiple linear regression of .000b with a significance of 0.05. This figure of 0.000 is smaller than alpha of 0.05. Thus it can be said that the influence of X1, X2, and X3 on Y is significant. In other words, student learning outcomes are a reflection of teacher competence, learning resources, utilization of science and technology, towards good student learning outcomes in student learning taken by students. Based on the description presented, a conclusion can be drawn that with teacher competence that is in accordance with educational standards, the available learning resources are sufficient, and the utilization of science and technology by competent teachers can improve student learning outcomes at SDN Gugus IV, Maron District, Probolinggo Regency.
