Studi Aplikasi Standar Pelayanan Kefarmasian di 11 Apotek Kabupaten Ngawi
Abstract
Abstract
Background: Pharmaceutical care have changed orientation from drug oriented to patient oriented. However, these changes did not have a significant effect on improving pharmaceutical care at pharmacies. Pharmaceutical care at pharmacies in several regions in Indonesia are still not in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 73 of 2016 concerning Pharmaceutical Care Standards at Pharmacies.
Objective: Determine the suitability of pharmaceutical care for 11 pharmacies in Ngawi Regency with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 73 of 2016.
Method: This research is a quantitative descriptive research with a prospective approach. Data collection was carried out using the direct observation method by researchers using observation sheets and interviews containing questions about pharmaceutical services at pharmacies to Pharmacy Management Pharmacists (APA) which were then documented. Data analysis was carried out by giving a score to each answer and then conducting further assessments to determine the level of service quality
Result: In the activities of managing pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices, and medical consumables the conformity of planning was 98.8%, procurement was 76.8%, receipt was 43.9%, storage was 38.6%, destruction and withdrawal was 15.2%, control of 54.5%, recording and reporting of 55.7%. In clinical pharmacy care, the suitability of prescribing was 50.6%, dispensing was 42.8%, drug information care was 47.1%, counseling was 61.9%, home pharmacy care was 9.1%, drug therapy monitoring was 13.6% and monitoring of drug side effects of 3.0%.
Conclusion: Pharmaceutical care at 11 pharmacies in Ngawi district were not in accordance with Minister of Health Regulation Number 73 of 2016.
