Abstract

Abstrak

Dalam mewujudkan cita-cita dan tujuan nasional Bangsa Indonesia, salah satu caranya adalah mengkaderisasi  generasi penerus bangsa yang lebih baik lagi dalam segi kualitas maupun sumber dayanya. Contoh dari kaderisasi tersebut adalah adanya mata kuliah/pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan bagi siswa maupun mahasiswa di tingkat perguruan tinggi sebagai bekal untuk melanjutkan roda kepemimpinan yang telah dijalankan sebelumnya. Mata kuliah ini sangat perlu diberikan dan diajarkan kepada mahasiswa di tingkat perguruan tinggi untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa sebagai bentuk mencintai Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI). Mahasiswa harus selalu cinta tanah air dan siap sedia untuk membela pertahanan dan keamanan negara. Dalam hal ini mahasiswa dituntut untuk bersatu dalam beraneka ragam budaya dan adat-istiadat yang telah berlaku di tertulis maupun tidak tertulis, mampu hidup berdampingan dalam keanekaragaman budaya dan mampu menguatkan rasa kebersamaan dalam Negara Indonesia. Mahasiswa juga digadang-gadang menjadi agen perubahan bagi kondisi Bangsa Indonesia menjadi lebih baik lagi dimasa mendatang dan bisa menunjukkan jati dirinya di kancah internasional.

Abstract

In realizing the ideals and national goals of the Indonesian nation, one way is to regenerate the next generation of the nation that is even better in terms of quality and resources. An example of this regeneration is the existence of Citizenship Education courses for students and students at the tertiary level as a provision to continue the leadership wheel that has been carried out previously. This course really needs to be given and taught to students at the university level to educate the nation's life as a form of loving the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). Students must always love their homeland and be ready to defend the defense and security of the country. In this case, students are united in various cultures and customs that have occurred both written and unwritten, are able to live in cultural diversity and are able to strengthen the sense of togetherness in the Indonesian state. Students are also expected to be agents of change for the condition of the Indonesian nation to be better in the future and be able to show their identity in the international arena.
