Bagaimana Pengembangan Permainan Sains Volcano Eruption Sub Tema Gejala Alam Untuk Memfasilitasi Perkembangan Sosial Emosional Anak 5-6 Tahun ?

Abstrak
Permainan sains bagi anak usia dini merupakan pengenalan dan penguasaan fakta, konsep, prinsip, teori maupun aspek-aspek lain yang terkait dengan hal-hal sains untuk mengembangkan berbagai kemampuan dan keterampilan. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi permasalahan yang muncul di lapangan terkait kurangnya penyampaian pembelajaran untuk anak usia dini melalui permainan sains, juga kurangnya kesesuaian proses pengembangan aspek sosial emosional anak usia dini. Pembelajaran melalui permainan sains diharapkan tidak hanya memfasilitasi dalam aspek kognitif, namun dapat juga untuk memfasilitasi perkembangan sosial emosional anak. Perkembangan sosial emosional anak yang diharapkan berkembang dari permainan sains yaitu sikap ingin tahu, tekun, terbuka, mawas diri, bertanggung jawab, bekerja sama, mandiri dalam kehidupannya serta membantu anak untuk dapat mengenal dan memupuk rasa cinta terhadap alam sekitar. Untuk masalah tersebut, peneliti melakukan penelitian pengembangan dengan metode penelitian EDR (Educational Design Research). Menurut McKenney dan Reeves metode EDR meliputi 3 tahap penelitian; 1) Tahap Analisis dan Eksplorasi; 2) Tahap Desain dan Konstruksi; 3) Tahap Evaluasi dan Refleksi. Tahap analisis dan eksplorasi menggunakan teknik observasi dan teknik wawancara kepada guru kelompok B. Secara umum permainan sains volcano eruption merupakan salah satu pembelajaran eksperimen untuk mengoptimalkan perkembangan sosial emosional anak.

Abstract
Science games for early childhood are the introduction and mastery of facts, concepts, principles, theories and other aspects related to science matters to develop various abilities and skills. This research is motivated by the problems that arise in the field related to the lack of delivery of learning for early childhood through science games, as well as the lack of suitability of the process of developing social emotional aspects of early childhood. Learning through science games is expected not only to facilitate the cognitive aspect, but also to facilitate the social emotional development of children. The socio-emotional development of children that is expected to develop from science games is an attitude of curiosity, perseverance, openness, introspection, responsibility, cooperation, independence in their lives and helps children to be able to recognize and cultivate a sense of love for the natural environment. For this problem, the researchers conducted development research using the EDR (Educational Design Research) research method. According to McKenney and Reeves the EDR method includes 3 stages of research; 1) Analysis and Exploration Phase; 2) Design and Construction Phase; 3) Evaluation and Reflection Stage. The analysis and exploration phase uses observation techniques and interview techniques to group B teachers. In general, the volcano eruption science game is one of the experimental learning methods to optimize children's social-emotional development.
