Abstract
This study aims to develop an early detection instrument for the physical development of children's fine motor skills. The method used to conduct this research uses a development-based research method that specifically aims to develop the instrument, namely the EDR (Educational Design Rerearch) model. EDR is a research design used to research the field of education. This study places the design as an important part of this research. EDR is a research approach using quantitative and qualitative data analysis. By using observation techniques and interviews with parents who have early children. Based on the results of exploration and analysis, the researchers concluded that it is necessary to develop an instrument for early detection of children's fine  motorik physical development. To find out how the stages of fine  motorik physical development of children by detecting early child development. Early detection of child development by referring to the Minister of Education and Culture No. 137 of 2014 Standards for Child Development Achievement Levels.
Keywords: Early Detection, Fine Motor Physical Development. Early Childhood.
