Penguatan Model Bisnis Badan Usaha Milik Swasta (BUMS) Dalam Mendukung Kemandirian Industri Pertahanan

Keputusan pemerintah dalam membuat undang-undang cipta kerja memberikan kesempatan yang lebih luas bagi perusahaan swasta / BUMS industri pertahanan. Percepatan pemenuhan alpalhankam yang sebelumnya bertumpu pada kemampuan BUMN (Defend ID) kemudian dapat terbantukan dengan adanya kegiatan produksi hingga penjualan oleh perusahaan swasta. Pemulihan ekonomi akibat pandemi semakin menuntut adanya perbaikan ekosistem industri pertahanan yang inovatif dan berdaya saing kuat. Tulisan ini akan membahas bagaimana pelaku industri pertahanan swasta mampu berkompetisi seimbang, bukan hanya dengan BUMN, tapi secara global, dan memperluas jaringan bisnis melalui berbagai strategi model bisnis. Metode analisis menggunakan metode SWOT untuk mengetahui potensi pengembangan model bisnis dalam lingkup industri pertahanan. Terbukanya peluang dalam memperluas jaringan industri pertahanan nasional perlu didukung dengan investasi, peningkatan kualitas SDM, kualitas riset, ekosistem persaingan yang sehat dan kolaboratif menjadi poin penting yang perlu dilaksanakan pelaku usaha swasta dalam rangka mencapai kemandirian industri pertahanan serta pemenuhan Minimum Essential Force untuk memperkuat garda terdepan pertahanan dan keamanan NKRI, TNI / Polri.
