Dampak Penggunaan Buku Ajar Kewarganegaraan pada Partisipasi Sosial Mahasiswa di Akademi Komunitas Negeri Aceh Barat

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengeksplorasi dampak penggunaan buku ajar kewarganegaraan pada partisipasi sosial mahasiswa di Akademi Komunitas Negeri Aceh Barat. Dalam penelitian ini, pendekatan yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Temuan dari penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa partisipasi sosial mahasiswa di Akademi Komunitas Negeri Aceh Barat cenderung rendah, terutama pada kegiatan sosial dan kegiatan keagamaan. Penggunaan buku ajar kewarganegaraan memiliki dampak yang positif pada partisipasi sosial mahasiswa di Akademi Komunitas Negeri Aceh Barat. Mahasiswa yang menggunakan buku ajar kewarganegaraan cenderung lebih aktif dalam kegiatan sosial maupun keagamaan. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi sosial mahasiswa di Akademi Komunitas Negeri Aceh Barat meliputi faktor internal (minat, motivasi, dan kemampuan) dan faktor eksternal (dukungan dari lingkungan, kebijakan kampus, dan kesempatan). Implikasi hasil penelitian ini bisa menjadi pedoman untuk melanjutkan pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan kewarganegaraan di perguruan tinggi, serta bagi penelitian-penelitian selanjutnya yang berkaitan dengan partisipasi sosial mahasiswa.

Abstract
This research aims to explore the impact of using civic education textbooks on the social participation of students at the State Community Academy of West Aceh. In this study, a qualitative approach is employed, with data collected through interviews and observations. The findings of this research indicate that the social participation of students at the State Community Academy of West Aceh tends to be low, especially in social and religious activities. The use of civic education textbooks has a positive impact on the social participation of students at the State Community Academy of West Aceh. Students who use civic education textbooks are more inclined to actively participate in both social and religious activities. Factors influencing the social participation of students at the State Community Academy of West Aceh include internal factors (interest, motivation, and ability) and external factors (support from the environment, campus policies, and opportunities). The implications of the research findings can serve as a guide for further curriculum development in civic education at the university level and for future research related to student social participation.
