Kajian Perbandingan Civic Education di Eropa dan Indonesia

Abstrak
Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang perbandingan Pendidikan kewarganegaraan di Kawasan eropa baik belanda dan inggris dengan Pendidikan kewarganegaraan di Indonesia. Secara umum bahwa Pendidikan kewarganegaraan dimasing-masing negara memiliki kesamaan dan terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan. Oleh sebab itu penulis ingin menyajikan sejauh mana secara konsep Pendidikan kewarganegegaraan di negara tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur dengan Langkah-langkah: memilih tema, mencari sumber informasi, menentukan arah penelitian, mengumpulkan sumber data, menyajikan data, dan membuat bahan untuk dilakukan perbandingan dan kombinasi analisis yang dilakukan, serta melakukan evaluasi dari literatur yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan baik di Belanda, Inggris dan Indonesia memiliki kesamaan untuk menekankan pengetahuan kewarganegaraan, karakter kewarganegaraan, keterampilan kewarganegaraan dan kewarganegaraan aktif baik dalam bentuk praktik menjadi warga negara yang baik (to be good citizens). Secara umum, kurikulum kewarganegaraan mencakup berbagai topik yang luas dan sangat komprehensif, membahas prinsip-prinsip dasar masyarakat demokratis, isu-isu masyarakat kontemporer seperti keragaman budaya dan pembangunan berkelanjutan, serta dimensi dunia internasional.
