Penguatan Keaktifan Belajar Peserta Didik pada Pembelajaran PPKn Melalui Metode Edutainment

Abstrak
Seringkali keaktifan peserta didik menjadi masalah dalam proses pembelajaran. Penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang variatif diharapkan mampu mengembangkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode pembelajaran edutainment dalam menguatkan keaktifan peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PPKn di SMP Negeri 2 Kalirejo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasy eskperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 59 responden yang terdiri dari 30 responden kelas eksperimen dan 29 responden kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi sebagai teknik pokok dan angket sebagai teknik penunjang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh hasil yang signifikan dari penerapan metode pembelajaran edutainment dalam menguatkan keaktifan peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PPKn dengan presentase 84,88% yang dibuktikan dengan banyaknya peserta didik mengajukan pertanyaan, menjawab pertanyaan, dan melakukan aktivitas belajar dengan games. Hal tersebut menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dari penerapan metode pembelajaran edutainment dalam menguatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PPKn.

Abstract
Student activites are often a problem in the learning process. The use of varied learning methods is expected to be able to develop students' active learning. This research aims to determine the application of edutainment learning methods in strengthening student activity in civic education subject at SMP Negeri 2 Kalirejo. This research used a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 59 respondents consisting of 30 experimental class respondents and 29 control class respondents. Data collection techniques use observation techniques as the main technique and questionnaires as a maintenance technique. Based on the research results, significant results were obtained from the application of edutainment learning methods in strengthening student activity in civic education subject with a percentage of 84.88% as evidenced by the large number of students asking questions, answering questions, and carrying out learning activities with games. This shows that there were significant differences in the application of edutainment learning methods in strengthening students' learning activities in civic education subject.
