Abstract
Turkey's decision to limit exports to Israel until a ceasefire has drawn international attention. This reflects the complex dynamics in the relationship between the two countries and the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The decision appears to be driven by political, economic, and social considerations involving solidarity with the Palestinian people, regional influence, and efforts to support the peace process. Turkey has adopted a more critical approach to Israel in recent years, particularly under the Justice and Development Party (AKP) government. Turkey's restriction on exporting products to Israel may also have significant economic implications for both countries, as well as broader political implications in the Middle East region. The ceasefire in the region offers an opportunity for the involved countries to seek long-term political solutions to the ongoing conflict. In this context, Turkey's decision can be seen as an effort to support the ceasefire process and encourage peaceful dialogue between Israel and Palestine. However, the decision may also affect the broader political and security dynamics in the Middle East, as well as Turkey's relations with other countries in the region..
