About the Journal

JURNAL SKRIPTA is a high-quality open access peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes research results in the fields of language, literature, language teaching and learning, and literature teaching and learning. JURNAL SKRIPTA is managed by the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta, Indonesia in collaboration with the Perkumpulan Pengelola Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia serta Pengajarannya (PPJB-SIP)

The focus and scope of JURNAL SKRIPTA is to publish scientific works from national and international lecturers, researchers, students, and practitioners to present their new ideas, concepts and theories in language, literature, culture, and education, such as:

1. The study of language and literature learning
2. Experimental research on language and Literature Education
3. Language studies
4. Literary studies
5. Tradition and oral literature
6. Philology and classical manuscript studies
7. Film and Song studies (related to language and literary studies)

Research, consisting of scientific reports that increase knowledge about literature in general, the branch of literature, linguistics, and the branch of linguistics. This journal contains articles that report the results of quantitative or qualitative research studies.

Conceptual Ideas, publishing articles that are conceptually relevant to advancing literature in general, literary, linguistic, and linguistic branches, etc. Articles can take advantage of theories / or material developed in literature and linguistics that are studied in depth.

The journal has been published two times a year: May and November. Manuscript submissions are open throughout the year, but before submitting, ensure that the manuscript is in Indonesian or English, and follows the focus, scope, and author's guidelines. The manuscript's prerequisites, standards, and format are listed in the author's guidelines and templates. JURNAL SKRIPTA accepts submissions of original articles that have not been published elsewhere or considered or processed for publication anywhere and demonstrate no plagiarism whatsoever. All published articles have been reviewed by peer-reviewers and edited by editors. At least some review partners will review the submitted manuscripts.

JURNAL SKRIPTA has been accredited Sinta 4 by the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency of Republic Indonesia (177/E/KPT/2024).
