Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
Journal of Architecture Resilience and Innovations (JARI) applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of every published manuscript. Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation stage. All submitted manuscripts undergo the following procedures.
• Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial team evaluates each submission for suitability, completeness, originality, and adherence to the journal’s scope. Manuscripts that do not meet basic requirements may be returned to authors for revision or rejected.
• Double-Blind Review
Eligible manuscripts are sent to two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s subject. Reviewers assess the clarity of ideas, methodological rigor, novelty, theoretical contribution, and overall scientific quality.
• Reviewer Recommendations
Reviewers may recommend acceptance, acceptance with minor revision, major revision, or rejection. Their evaluation focuses on the contribution of the research to architecture, resilience studies, and built-environment innovation.
• Revision Process
Authors address reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript within the specified timeframe. Revised submissions may undergo an additional review if needed to ensure that all concerns have been resolved.
• Final Decision
The editor-in-chief makes the final publication decision based on reviewer recommendations, editorial judgment, and the quality of revisions.
• Plagiarism Screening
All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism before acceptance. JARI only accepts work that meets ethical publication standards.
This process ensures that all published articles contribute meaningful, rigorous, and innovative knowledge to the field of architecture and the built environment.
