Pandemi Covid-19 telah menjadi salah satu masalah paling berbahaya yang kita hadapi saat ini. adanya pandemi Covid-19 membuat kita terhambat dalam melakukan kegiatan secara langsung, baik itu dalam berkomunikasi ataupun dalam melakukan pekerjaan. Di tengah pandemi Covid-19 ini, banyak generasi muda yang tidak mengetahui atau tidak menyadari bahwa Pancasila memiliki peran penting di masa pandemi Covid-19. Generasi muda di zaman sekarang tidak tertarik untuk mengamalkan nilai-nilai yang ada dalam Pancasila. Terlebih lagi saat pendemi Covid-19 ini, membuat generasi muda buta bahwa pancasila berperan penting bagi kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. Para generasi muda memerlukan pancasila sebagai landasan pendidikan karakter di masa pandemi Covid-19 ini. Karakter merupakan sikap atau sifat yang harus di miliki generasi muda dengan karakter yang baik maka akan menciptakan bangsa dan negara yang berkualitas baik dan negara yang memiliki kemajuan dalam berbagai aspek. Kesuksesan suatu bangsa dan negara tak lepas dari partisipasi masyarakatnya terutama generasi muda. Adapun metode yang dilakukan, adalah dengan metode kualitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh berdasarkan temuan kajian pustaka menunjukkan bahwa di era globalisasi saat ini bahkan pandemi Covid-19, banyak masyarakat, generasi muda yang tidak mengindahkan bahkan mengetahui peranan penting Pancasila di kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has become one of the most dangerous problems we face today. The Covid-19 pandemic has hampered us in carrying out activities directly, be it in communicating or in doing work. In the midst of this Covid-19 pandemic, many young people do not know or do not realize that Pancasila has an important role during the Covid-19 pandemic. The younger generation today is not interested in practicing the values in Pancasila. Moreover, during the Covid-19 pandemic, it made the younger generation blind that pancasila plays an important role in the life of the nation and state. The younger generation needs pancasila as the foundation of character education during the Covid-19 pandemic. Character is an attitude or trait that must be possessed by the younger generation with good character, it will create a nation and state of good quality and a country that has progress in various aspects. The success of a nation and country cannot be separated from the participation of its people, especially the younger generation. As for the method carried out, it is by qualitative method. The results obtained based on the findings of the literature review show that in the current era of globalization and even the Covid-19 pandemic, many people, the younger generation do not heed and even know the important role of Pancasila in the life of the nation and state.
