Abstrak
Jika suatu aktivitas ekonomi menimbulkan dampak negatif maka perlu dilakukannya suatu intervensi pemerintah.

Abstract
If economic activity is negatively impacted, it is necessary to request government intervention. The government can collect taxes on an economic activity that causes externalities. This study analyzes the urgency of implementing a carbon tax in Indonesia. This research is a literature study using secondary data from several sites on the internet and international journals. The results showed that the implementation of the policy showed a significant impact on the environment and state revenues.
