Abstract
Electrical energy is an important factor in life. Almost all activities in everyday life require the support of electrical energy. Not only that, electrical energy also plays an important role in turning the wheels of a country's economy, even in the field of defense, electrical energy has a very important role such as turning on radars on the border so that a country's sovereignty is maintained. Therefore, a country's electricity reserves are a very important factor to think about together. Nowadays, electricity can be generated through many power sources. There are even electrical energy resources that do not produce emissions, or better known as New and Renewable Energy (EBT). One of the abundant NRE resources in Indonesia is geothermal. Indonesia is included in the country crossed by the ring of fire so that it has a lot of geothermal potential. To convert geothermal resources into electrical energy can be done with 3 types of technology, namely flash steam, dry steam, and binary cycle. In its application, the efficiency of binary cycle technology is the highest and the lowest level of efficiency is dry steam technology.
