Analisis Dasar Kebutuhan Pengembangan Media untuk Memfasilitasi Perkembangan Kognitif Anak pada Pembelajaran Geometri

Abstrak
Program pendidikan anak usia dini merupakan salah satu lembaga yang bertanggung jawab dalam memfasilitasi tumbuh kembang anak sesuai standar regulasi yang telah ditetapkan. Sehingga dalam hal ini, guru perlu menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran secara matang untuk menunjang pengoptimalan proses dan hasil belajar anak. Maka dari itu, perencanaan pembelajaran harus sesuai dengan karakteristik kebutuhan anak dan kebutuhan pembelajaran itu sendiri. Berdasarkan hal itu, penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui dasar kebutuhan pengembangan media dalam memfasilitasi perkembangan kognitif anak pada pembelajaran geometri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode pengembangan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Artikel ini hanya membahas tahap pertama yaitu tahap analisis. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada tahap ini, yaitu melalui studi lapangan di Kober Tunas Kartika serta melakukan studi literatur untuk mengkaji landasan teori dan regulasi terkait. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kesenjangan dari kedua fakta tersebut, maka dalam hal ini perlu adanya inovasi media sebagai pilihan solusi dari permasalahan. Data tersebut menjadi dasar kebutuhan sebagai acuan dalam membuat rancangan dan pengembangan media pada tahap selanjutnya.

Abstract
The early childhood education program is one of the institutions responsible for facilitating children's development in accordance with established regulatory standards. So in this case, teachers need to develop a careful learning plan to support optimizing the process and learning outcomes of children. Therefore, lesson planning must be in accordance with the characteristics of children's needs and the needs of the learning itself. Based on this, the research was conducted to determine the basic needs of media development in facilitating children's cognitive development in learning geometry. The research method used is the development method with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This article only discusses the first stage, namely the analysis stage. Data collection is carried out at this stage, namely through field studies at Kober Tunas Kartika and conducting literature studies to examine the theoretical basis and related regulations. Based on the results of the analysis which shows that there is a gap between the two facts, in this case it is necessary to have media innovation as a solution to the problem. This data becomes the basis for the needs as a reference in making the design and development of media at a later stage.
