Pengembangan Media Poster Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Kognitif Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun

Abstrak
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi mengenai permasalahan masih terbatasnya upaya mengoptimalkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun, khususnya pada sub tema mengenal binatang buas. Hal ini terjadi karena terbatasnya media pembelajaran pada sub tema mengenal binatang buas. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, maka peneliti mengembangkan media poster untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan kognitif pada sub tema mengenal bianatang buas anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode EDR (Educational Design Research), model generik karya Mckenney & Reeves. Namun, pada artikel ini hanya membahas 2 tahap yakni tahap analisis dan ekplorasi serta tahap desain dan konstruksi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Sedangkan lokasi penelitian bertempat di TK Istiqomah. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan data mengenai dasar kebutuhan dan rancangan desain media poster untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan kognitif pada sub tema mengenal binatang buas anak usia 5-6 tahun.

Abstract
This Research is motivated by the problem of still limited efforts to optimize the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years, especially in the sub-theme of knowing wild animals. This happens because of the limited learning media on the sub-theme of knowing wild animals. In this regard, researchers developed a poster media to facilitate cognitive abilities in the sub-theme of recognizing wild animals for children aged 5-6 years. This studi uses the EDR (Educational Design Research) method, a generic model by Mckenney & Reeves. However this article only discusses 2 stages, namely the analysis and exploration stage and the design and construction stage. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation studies. Meanwhile, the research location is istiqomah Kindergaten. The results of this study produce data on the basic needs and design of poster media design to facilitate cognitive abilities in the sub-theme of recognizing wild animal for children aged 5-6 years.
