Kontribusi Warga Digital di Media Sosial dalam Penerapan Bandung Smart City

Abstrak
Kompleksitas permasalahan pembangunan yang dihadapi kota besar saat ini membutuhkan sebuah percepatan pembangunan. Percepatan pembangunan diaktualisasikan melalui smart economy, smart mobility, smart governance, smart people, smart living, dan smart environment. Keenam unsur ini merupakan dimensi dari smart city. Smart city merupakan suatu konsep kota dengan pengembangan, penerapan, dan implementasi teknologi yang diterapkan disuatu daerah sebagai sebuah interaksi yang terintegrasi diantara berbagai sistem yang ada di dalamnya. Konsep smart city menawarkan alternatif solusi bagi kota besar yang telah mengalami gejala-gejala kelebihan populasi. Dengan memperkuat teknologi informasi,kebijakan dan masyarakat yang berada di dalam wilayah suatu kota,diperoleh inovasi-inovasi yang dapat menjadi solusi jangka panjang bagi suatu kota. Pembangunan dan pengembangan suatu kota dapat diarahkan menjadi suatu kota yang memiliki sifat berkesinambungan dan juga ramah lingkungan. Warga negara yang cerdas merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam mendukung penerapan konsep smart city. Kewarganegaraan adalah prinsip kehidupan dalam organisasi negara. Warga negara saat ini telah bertranformasi menjadi warga digital akibat dampak dari kemajuan teknologi dan informasi. Sehingga kehadiran warga digital memberikan kontribusi besar dalam upaya kemajuan peradaban Kota Bandung dalam mendukung implementasi Smart City.
