Calcium administration is a preventive effort against hypertension in pregnancy (Manuaba, I.B.G et al., 2007). The results of the Preliminary Survey at puskesmas Harapan obtained data on visits by hypertensive pregnant women reaching 759 (28.3%) visits per year. (Dinkes Kab. Jayapura 2018). This service aims to provide knowledge (Knowledge Transfer) to the target of the activity on the importance of calcium and vitamin D supplement intake during pregnancy to prevent hypertension in pregnant women. The method in this service is counseling on the intake of calcium and vitamin D supplements to prevent hypertension in pregnancy, as well as examination of pregnant women in the villages of Nolokla and Asai Besar. Community service activities are carried out in August – November 2021.
