Analisis Proses Kerja Petugas Aviation Security (Avsec) dalam Meningkatkan Keamanan Penerbangan di Bandar Udara Internasional Adisutjipto Yogyakarta

Abstrak
Sumber daya manusia merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat menentukan bagi keberhasilan atau kegagalan organisasi dalam mencapai tujuan. Manusia berperan sebagai penggerak dan penentu jalannya sebuah organisasi. Organisasi tidak akan berjalan tanpa peran manusia, meskipun berbagai faktor yang dibutuhkan tersedia. Oleh karena itu organisasi harus memberi perhatian yang baik terhadap sumber daya manusia yang dimilikinya, agar organisasi memiliki produktivitas yang tinggi. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat keberhasilan suatu organisasi adalah kinerja sumber daya manusia atau karyawannya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui peran petugas aviation security dalam meningkatkan keamanan di Bandar Udara Internasional Adisutjipto Yogyakarta dan mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi oleh perugas aviation security dalam meningkatkan keamanan di Bandar Udara Internasional Adisutjipto Yogyakarta. Desain penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data Primer yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah data hasil wawancara dan hasil observasi. Data sekunder berupa data laporan informasi dari Bandar Udara Internasional Adisutjipto Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran petugas AVSEC dalam menjamin keamanan dan keselamatan penerbangan, yaitu memeriksa penumpang yang akan memasuki pesawat, memeriksa cabin crew, mengawasi kontrol ke sisi udara, memeriksa penumpang pesawat yang akan transit dan transfer, mengawasi jalur menuju pesawat, menertibkan kargo dan memeriksa barang-barang ilegal. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh petugas AVSEC saat pemeriksaan menemukan benda atau barang bawaan penumpang yang dapat membahayakan keselamatan penerbangan.

Abstract
Human resources are one of the most decisice factors for the success or failure of an organization in achieving its goals. Humans play a role in driving and determining the course of an organization. Organizations will not run without the role of humans, even though various required factor are available. Therefore, the organization must pay good attention to its human resources, so that the organization has high productivity. One of the factors that influence the level of success of an organization is the performance of its human resources of employees. The purpose of this studi is to determine the role of aviation security officers in improving security at Yogyakara Adisutjipto International Airport and to find out the obstacles faced by aviation security officers in improving security at Yogyakarta Adisutjipto International Airport. The research design is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Primary data used in this research is data from interviews and observations. Secondary data in the form of informatioan report data from Yogyakarta Adisutjipto International Airport. The results showed that the role of AVSEC officers in ensuring flight security and safety, namely checking passengers who would enter the plane, checking cabin crew, supervising controls to the air side, checking airplane passengers who would transit and transfer, overseeing the route to the plane, controlling cargo and checking illegal goods. Obstacles faced by AVSEC officers during inspections found object or passanger luggage that could endanger flight safety.
