Abstract
Along with the times, the industrial world today has also experienced rapid development, this can be seen in industries engaged in wood processing, mining, land clearing, oil palm plantations, mining and road construction projects where most of them are done using heavy equipment. So the need for heavy equipment, especially at PT. KOMATSU, UNITED TRACTOR and also VOLVO are also increasing. One of the heavy equipment that is often used in projects is an excavator, as it is known that excavators play an important role in jobs such as digging, leveling cliffs, lifting goods, and others. Which aims to produce seal resistance on excavator hydraulic rods with the EC200D type. The figures obtained are Oil Seal 1 white color 1,766,639 kg, Oil Seal 2 blue 441.484 kg, Ring Wear 441.484 kg, and Lip Seal 993.69 kg. Then a resistance test will be carried out on the hydraulic rod seals if each seal is pressured with a load of 40-90 Shore A.
