Kecerdasan Interpersonal Dalam Membentuk Civic Engagement Warga Negara Muda

Abstract
The development of civic engagement among young citizens is crucial as it directly impacts the quality of human resources and plays a key role in guiding the nation's progress towards the fulfillment of societal, national, and state ideals. Civic engagement is intricately linked to public life and requires strong interpersonal intelligence in young individuals who represent the future generation of the nation. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review to descriptively outline the role of interpersonal intelligence in shaping civic engagement among young citizens. The findings emphasize the vital role of interpersonal intelligence in fostering civic engagement among young citizens, enabling them to actively participate and be visible members of society.

Abstrak
Pembentukan civic engagement bagi warga negara muda sangat diperlukan karena aspek yang terkandung di dalamnya dapat menentukan kualitas sumber daya manusia warga negara muda serta memiliki tujuan dalam menentukan arah kemajuan bangsa, yang bermuara pada tercapainya cita-cita masyarakat, bangsa, dan negara. Civic engagement sangat berkaitan erat dengan kehidupan masyarakat publik. Maka dari pada itu, dibutuhkanlah kecerdasan interpersonal yang mumpuni dalam diri individu warga negara muda sebagai wajah kualitas generasi muda bangsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan, yang akan menjabarkan secara deskriptif mengenai kecerdasan interpersonal dalam membentuk civic engagement warga negara muda. Hasil yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan interpersonal sangat diperlukan dalam pembentukan civic engagement warga negara muda, dikarenakan dengan kecerdasan interpersonal maka pemuda sebagai warga negara muda mampu tampil, berpartisipasi dan aktif untuk terlihat langsung di dalam masyarakat.
