MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PPKN DENGAN MODEL ASSURE

AbstrakPenelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dengan Model ASSURE Kelas VII B SMP Negeri 3 Kasihan Bantul. Subjek yang dikenai tindakan yaitu kelas VII B dengan jumlah 32 siswa (Laki- laki 16 dan Perempuan 16). Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini menggunakan Siklus Model spiral Kemmis dan Taggart yaitu rencana, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Teknik dalam pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan Kualitatif (Data Reduksi, Data Display dan Penarikan kesimpulan) dan Kuantitatif. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian maka, upaya untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VII B melalui beberapa cara : Temuan Pra Siklus menunjukkan bahwa antusias siswa saat mengikuti pembelajaran rendah karena, ditemui ketidaksiapan siswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran, siswa masih bercanda ketika pelajaran, siswa masih enggan untuk bertanya, kurangnya kesadaran siswa untuk mencatat materi yang disampaikan dan ketidaktepatan siswa dalam pengumpulan tugas serta hasil angket yang diperoleh Pra Siklus siswa yang minimal termotivasi 62,5%. Pada Siklus I dan Siklus II menggunakan Model ASSURE melalui beberapa cara : tahap perencanaan guru menganalisis karakteristik siswa untuk mengetahui pembelajaran yang diinginkan siswa, menentukan tujuan pembelajaran, memilih metode, media dan materi. Pada pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar guru menyampaikan materi menggunakan power point yang disertai gambar serta melibatkan siswa secara aktif dengan diskusi. Evaluasi dan refleksi yang dilakukan pada Siklus I kurang memuaskan karena masih ditemui kendala : siswa masih ragu untuk mengajukan pertanyaan, konsentrasi kurang, saling tunjuk antar kelompok ketika akan menyajikan hasil diskusi serta kepercayaan diri yang masih rendah serta hasil angket motivasi belajar Siklus I siswa yang minimal termotivasi 68,75% dengan perbandingan dari Pra Siklus ke Siklus I sebesar 6,25%. Meskipun terjadi peningkatan tetap masih diperlukan perbaikan ke Siklus II dan kegiatan pembelajaran berjalan baik: siswa menjadi antusias, konsentrasi dan kepercayaan diri siswa meningkat ketika menyajikan hasil diskusi serta meningkatnya kesadaran kelompok lain untuk menghargai ketika ada yang presentasi serta hasil angket motivasi belajar Siklus II siswa yang minimal termotivasi 78,12% dengan perbandingan Siklus I ke Siklus II sebesar 9,37%.

Abstract
This Classroom Action Research uses the Kemmis and Taggart spiral Model Cycles namely plan, action, observation and reflection. Techniques in collecting data are observation, questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis uses qualitative (data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing) and quantitative. Based on the results of the study, efforts to improve students 'learning motivation in class VII B through several ways: Pre-Cycle Findings show that students' enthusiasm when participating in learning is low because, students are not prepared to participate in lessons, students are still joking during lessons, students are still reluctant to ask questions , the lack of student awareness to record the material submitted   and the inaccuracy of students in the collection of assignments and the results of the questionnaire obtained by Pre-Cycle students who were at least motivated by 62.5%. In Cycle I and Cycle II using the ASSURE Model in a number of ways: the planning stage of the teacher analyzing the characteristics of students to find out the learning desired by students, determining learning objectives, choosing methods, media and materials. In the implementation of learning activities the teacher conveys material using power points accompanied by pictures and actively involves students with discussion. Evaluation and reflection conducted in Cycle I was unsatisfactory because obstacles were still encountered: students were still hesitant to ask questions, lacked concentration, pointing between groups when presenting the results of discussion and low self-confidence and the results of student Cycle I learning motivation questionnaires were minimal motivated 68.75% with a comparison from Pre-Cycle to Cycle I of 6.25%. Although there is still an improvement still needed improvement to Cycle II and learning activities go well: students become enthusiastic, concentration and self-confidence of students increases when presenting the results of discussions and increasing awareness of other groups to appreciate when there are presentations and the results of student Cycle II learning motivation questionnaire Motivated at least 78.12% with a comparison of Cycle I to Cycle II of 9.37%.
