USE OF CANVA APPLICATION AS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY-BASED LEARNING MEDIA TO IMPROVE SOCIAL MEDIA MOTIVATION FOR PK-PLK TEACHERS IN TULUNGAGUNG DISTRICT

The rapid development of information technology has provided many conveniences in the world of education, one of which is in the development of learning media. One application that can be used as an information technology-based learning media is Canva. This study aims to determine the effect of using the Canva application as an information technology-based learning media on social media motivation for PK-PLK (Special Education - Special Service Education) teachers in Tulungagung Regency.
This study uses a quantitative method with an experimental research design. The population in this study were PK-PLK teachers in Tulungagung Regency, with a sample of 50 teachers selected randomly. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire to measure teachers' social media motivation before and after using the Canva application.
The results of the data analysis showed that the use of the Canva application as an information technology-based learning media had a positive and significant effect on social media motivation for PK-PLK teachers. After using Canva, there was an increase in the aspects of intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, and a decrease in teacher motivation in using social media. The use of Canva can encourage teachers to be more active in sharing learning content, collaborating, and developing their professionalism on social media.
