PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI, PARTISIPASI DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR IPS MELALUI MODEL TSTS BERVARIASI SCRAMBLE

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan motivasi, partisipasi dan hasil belajar IPS peserta didik melalui Cooperative Learning Model Two Stay Two Stray†(TSTS) bervariasi Scramble kelas IXA SMP Negeri 2 Semanu, Gunungkidul. Penelitian dilaksanakan 5 bulan dengan tahapan pra siklus dan 2 siklus, setiap siklus laksanakan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan dengan pengamatan, angket dan dokumentasi hasil ulangan, Analisis data dilakukan dengan deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Penerapan Model TSTS bervariasi Scramble meningkatkan motivasi pada pra siklus skor rata-rata 45,38 siklus I, 49,58 siklus II, 54,83, dan peserta didik mengalami peningkatan 21 (87,50%) melebihi kriteria keberhasilan 80%. Partisipasi pada pra siklus 3,63 dan pada siklus I, 5,50 peningkatan 1,88 (95,75%) dan peserta didik mengalami peningkatan 21 (87,50%) lebih besar kriteria keberhasilan 80%, dan prestasi belajar atau ketuntasan KKM (> 75) pra siklus 11 peserta didik (45,83%), siklus I , 17 peserta didik (70,83%) dan siklus II 22 peserta didik (91,67%) berhasil optimal melebihi kriteria keberhasilan kinerja 80%. Hal ini menunjukkan Penerapan Model (TSTS) bervariasi Scramble meningkatkan motivasi, partisipasi dan prestasi belajar.

The objective of this study was to increase the students’ motivation, participation, and the result study of the students in the Social Studies lesson through Cooperative Learning Model Stay to Stray Scramble Variation on class IXA SMP 2 Semanu, Gunungkidul. This study was conducted during 5 months with 2 cycles, the pre- cycle and second cycle. Each cycle was conducted of three steps, planning, auctioning, observing, and reflecting. The data were collected using monitoring, inquiring, and documenting the test result. The data analysis was collected using descriptive and quantitative methods. The application of TSTS Scramble Variation model increases the student motivation on pre- cycle score. The average score was 45, 38, on the first cycle, 49, 58 on the second cycle, 54, 83, and the students motivation increase 21 (87, 50%), it is higher than the succeed criteria on 80%. The student participation on pre cycle was 3, 63 and on the first cycle was 5, 50, and the student participation increase 1, 88 (95, 75%) and it increase 21 (87, 50%),it is bigger than the succeed criteria 80%, and the achievement of the study or KKM (>75%) pre cycle 11 student participant (45, 83%), first cycle, 17 students participant (70, 83%), and the second cycle 22 students participant (91, 67%), optimally succeed more than the criteria succeed 80%. It shows that the using of TSTS variation scramble method increase the student motivation, participation, and achievement study.
